Our English Artist is Penelope Altmann, who lives in the south of France. Her passion is to sketch, draw, and create beautiful pieces for you to cherish forever. We hope you enjoy her amazing talent and we are happy to share it with you.
Wedding Gown, Wedding Gown and Tuxedo, Bridesmaid Dress, Flower Girl Dress, Mother of the Bride, Gown and Body, a Baby Cristening and Even Prom
The size of the art is roughly 8 1/2″ x 11″ to 9″ x 12″. 11″ x 14″ size frame with a mat is the best selection. A frame and mat does not come with the order. The dress is completely white or ivory with maybe a tint of color of the artist’s choice to enhance areas of the dress, which will be applied with paint, pens or other tools. The artist can enhance the beading, lace, tint of color etc. to her choice or your choice if you specify in the order form. The sketch will be illustrated by pencil on light grain paper by Sennelier. A sketch is not an exact replica. It is a rough design, giving the essential features. We can also provide you with a sketch of a bride in the gown, in place of the hanger. Our artist lives in Europe. The sketch will be shipped directly to the address that you state when ordering, from the South of France. We accept orders from all over the world.
Accessories
You may also select accessories to accompany your gown. A sketch of the veil, back of the dress, garter, bouquet and anything you desire. This image can be a separate piece (4″ x 4″) or sketched on the gown sketch. Please inform our artist of your specific request.
Bridesmaid Dress
For the bridesmaid dress you may choose to have one sketch created. The sketch could include one gown or multiple gowns. You can make copies for the remainder of your wedding party or you may choose to have a sketch created for each bridesmaid.
Gift Certificate
Purchase a gift certificate to give as a gift. The gift certificate can be mailed or emailed to any address that is submitted. There is not any added cost to mail the gift certificate. The recipient’s name will be printed on the gift certificate, along with who the gift certificate is from. Please be specific as what you would like that to say. It will then be placed in an envelope. Redeem your gift certificate at www.MyDreamlines.com will be printed on the gift certificate. The cost of the gift certificate for a sketch is $150. The gift certificate will be mailed the following day that the payment is received.
To Redeem the Gift Certificate
In the order form please state the name of the person who presented you with the gift, along with the code. You can then proceed to place your order. The final step will be the PayPal payment center. Once you have been taken to PayPal your order has been submitted to Dreamlines. You may exit that page. Please do not proceed with the payment. This process allows the gift to be recieved without any cost to the recipient.(expires in one year)
Provide A Photo or Website Address
You can email us one to two photos of the image after your checkout is complete through the receipt email that you will receive – dream@mydreamlines.com and pennytoo@hotmail.com. You can also provide us with a website to where your photos are located in the ordering process.
Normal Delivery
The sketch will be completed in 2-4 weeks from the time that the payment is received, which takes 2-3 days. Shipping is an additional 5-14 days from Europe directly to you, anywhere in the world. There is not a shipping fee. There is not an option for priority shipping. If you need to receive the sketch sooner than 45 days from the time the order is placed please select the rushed art fee. We can also mail and email a piece for you to present to the recipient that a sketch is on its way. Please tell us what you would like the verbiage to say: To Louise With All My Love Forever David.
Rushed Art Fee
The sketch can be completed in 10 days from the time that the payment is received. Shipping is an additional 5-14 days. (The rushed art fee covers the artist’s time for creating your art in a timely manner, by moving your order to the front of the line.) If you need to receive the sketch sooner than 45 days from the time the order is placed please select the rushed art fee. Thank You Cards
Don’t forget the Thank You Cards with the sketch of your wedding gown. They are a great way for your guests to have a lovely token of your wedding day. The ten fold over cards measure 5 1/2″ x 4 1/4″ and includes envelopes. The illustrations are printed with a laser printer. The cards are mailed out after we receive confirmation from you that you received the sketch. On the inside (on the bottom) it will read: “Wedding Gown Sketch is a Creation of the Bride’s Gown”
*Your sketch could be used in marketing materials on the website or in print.
*Since your sketch is not an exact replica, but a rough design based on the artist’s style, we are UNABLE to refund or recreate a sketch. Please be specific. If you choose not to provide detail of what your vision is our artist will create what her vision is. We do not provide a preview of your sketch. We are unable to edit or change the sketch before mailing your order. Once the sketch has been mailed the sale is final. We are unable to create another sketch, if the dress selection has changed or if you would like to give the sketch to a different recipient.
*We are unable to email you a copy of the sketch, since a scanned image via email doesn’t provide justice to the original. Also, the element of surprise is everything!
*We are unable to control the delivery process. Orders can be as quick as 2 days and can take as long as 14.
*You have the option to choose the shipping address when placing the order.
*Testimonials via email can be posted on the website.
*Payment can only be received by submitting the order form, We are unable to accept payment via email or phone. You do not need a paypal account.
